Projectile Motion and Energy
When you throw a ball straight up, it gradually loses speed until it stops and begins to fall. As it falls, it gradually gains speed. Speed is associated with kinetic energy. Height is associated with gravitational potential energy. You'll investigate the relationship between these two types of energy in projectile motion.
